“I spend a lot of time at home crafting, and doing bits and pieces here and there. I’m a stay at home mum so I need something to fill in the time between looking after the children and I really like creating different pieces of art that people can enjoy. I’m passionate about anything crafty – clothing, feltwork, embroidery – I find embroidery really peacemaking for myself. I have a young family, I don’t actually know where I find the time to do this.

I love how homely Christchurch is, we actually moved away after the earthquakes and moved back to have babies. I think it’s a really awesome place to raise kids, a really safe environment. I also love the pace of Christchurch, it’s not too busy but not dull and boring either. I like seeing all the new infrastructure as well as the boutique shops. I love seeing all the creative people we have here and finding out how many creative outlets people have.”
