We moved into our present house just two weeks before the September earthquake 2011. Our previous house was near the river in Avondale. We were downsizing, as our children were grown up and had moved out. It’s part of the Red Zone now.

This camera (Rolleiflex 2.8F) came out in 1965. My friend’s father brought it back from Hong Kong and he hardly ever used it. He still had half a film left in it when my friend gave it to me to use. Being so old, the images had gone a bit soft and grainy. He lent it to me for nostalgic reasons because I had used a Rolleiflex 3.5F to photograph weddings in the late 1960’s.
Nowadays I use Canon Digital SLR’s.
